Hiatus

My boyfriend broke my $400 phone when he was stumbling around to get to work at 5:30 in the morning. So instead of having a good phone, I have a 12 dollar flip phone from the grocery store. I was never super attached to my phone, but considering how much it had been I would have liked it to last longer. I'm not someone that needs to constantly be texting everyone I know, I don't really use my apps such as facebook and instagram. I haven't used my instagram in months and I'm now only using facebook to give people my new number. I'm enjoying a bit of freedom from expensive cell phones.

Happily

I'm hoping that the sun starts coming out on Sunday. I'm going to a local amusement park with my boyfriend, my sister, and my friend. It's fine if it isn't sunny but it's always fun when the sun is shining and you're hurtling around a roller coaster going a hundred miles per hour. I'm certain that I'm going to have a great time and I'm going to make them go on the rides that I want them to go on. I love hardcore rides, so we'll see how they make it out at the end.

Working It Out

I'm working on losing weight, I'd like to lose twenty pounds by the beginning of the school year. My dad has been working hard and losing weight, and he's lost fifty pounds so far. He said that this was the first time that he had been under three hundred pounds in twenty years. He's really inspiring me to lose the excess weight I've gained since I left high school. It was easy to remain a super healthy weight in school because I was a cheerleader. My flexibility was something I was always happy about.

Rain Rain Go Away

Ever since the Fourth of July, it has been raining and the weather has been so bad that I couldn't go out and get photos done. But I finally did, and I found a perfect spot. I think I may use it for a while.

The power has been on and off at my house, and I absolutely hate being alone at night with the power off. My boyfriend and my roommates have been working pretty hard. But that means that they aren't around during the night time. I'm hoping that the weather will get better and I won't have to worry about sitting alone in the dark again.

Also, no Netflix, which is pretty awful

Happy Fourth!

I'm posting this before I head off to work which is definitely something I'm a little bit upset about. I wish I could be doing the usual Fourth of July activities; but I was able to go to a family gathering. I'm working until about ten o'clock tonight so I'm not going to be able to go to any of the nearby firework displays. But I'm sure when I head home there will be fireworks going off from people setting them off in their back yard. They always seem to do that, and it just seems like such a dangerous thing to do. So maybe I'm a bit happy I'm not going anywhere this year? Also the weather has been kind of iffy the last few days. I was without power until like... Two in the morning.
This is one of the few pants that I genuinely like. I do a lot of running and leg exercising, which results in me having bigger thighs than usual. Sometimes people make fun of me and call me thunder thighs. But if a serial killer is running after us, I am going to outrun you. I promise. For whatever reason, these shorts do a really good job of making me feel confident about my thighs. I think that they look good in them, and I really appreciate Forever 21 for making them and making them in  a way that make my legs look good. Also, thanking the weather Gods for making it not raining this morning when we went out and take the photos.

Whatever Suits You

It's been kind of a hot summer so far. Between the 90 degree heat and the thunder storms, mornings are kind of the only time that I can go out and walk around for photos to be taken. Anything later than one and it ends up storming; thundering and pouring. Yesterday, when I took these photos, I also went to a few thrift stores to find some clothes for future lookbooks. Also, thrift stores where I could find outfits for London, Rome and Paris.

My best friend and I have decided to go on a student trip that is like 3,700 dollars each. It will take us from London, to Paris and then to Rome. We were originally planning on going to the slightly cheaper one; which was only London, Paris and Amsterdam. But with this trip we get to go to more places that interest us, and also I mean... Rome's pretty cool.

Getting the money is going to be difficult for us. She's looking for a job and I'm a waitress. We're going to have to do all of this between college, car payments, phone payments; and the like. Sometimes I wish I was less of an adult, but that doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon.
But we're going, and we're going to be working hard in many different ways in order to try and get the money so that we can go. It's worth it, in my opinion. To go to a different part of the world and see a different world than what we're used to. Small towns in New York do not have the same kind of culture as places in Rome and Paris. So in all we need 7,400 dollars. Not including the money that we're going to need in order to pay for food and things like that. But we're going, because we're young and we're looking for a life that we might not have in the future. We're going together, because, let's be honest... Being in a foreign country alone sounds awful.
